Role: Application Support Engineer
Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications and systems.
- Monitor application performance and respond to incidents or alerts promptly.
- Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to resolve issues and improve application functionality.
- Document support procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
