Role: Application Support Engineer

Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications and systems.
Monitor application performance and respond to incidents or alerts promptly.
Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to resolve issues and improve application functionality.
Document support procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches as necessary.

Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management processes.
Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Experience with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with new technologies and industry trends.
