Hiring For Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software tools and environments used in the development and testing of Ericsson’s products.
- Collaborating with software architects and engineers to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software environments.
- Automating processes to improve efficiency and streamline software development workflows.
- Troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to internal teams.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Git, Jenkins).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Must have skills
Linux: Experienced
- Python scripting: Experienced
- Advanced knowledge of Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- Jenkins: Experienced
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Git/Gerrit: Experienced
- Advanced knowledge of working with Git/Gerrit for version control and code review processes.
- Docker: Fundamental
- Fundamental understanding of Docker for containerization.
- Kubernetes: Fundamental
- Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- IP network skills: Fundamental
- Basic IP network skills for troubleshooting and configuration.
- Strong experience in shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
Added Advantages to have:
- Prior experience in maintaining and troubleshooting software delivery staging & release pipelines in a cloud-native development environment.
- Prior experience of working in DevOps set-up
