Motorola Solutions Hiring for Database/ETL Developer

Role: Database/ETL Developer
Job Location: Bangalore, India
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate and mash data from multiple systems and warehouses into a centralized Heroku Postgres database.
- Develop and optimize new PostgreSQL queries, functions, and procedures to expose data to the Salesforce Cloud Platform.
- Create and design new data structures for incoming and existing datasets in the centralized Postgres database.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency during the integration and transformation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Perform regular maintenance, tuning, and updates to the Postgres database to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues and implement corrective measures.
- Document data integration processes, database schemas, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL and Salesforce Cloud Platform features and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on database-related tasks.
Skills Required:
- Very good working knowledge of SQL and ability to write database procedures/functions in database Procedural Language (for example PL/pgSQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL),
- Experience in optimization ofcomplex database queries/procedures,(knowledge about postgres DB tuning and Postgres DB performance optimization would be an asset),
- Experience in data integrations across multiple systems/platforms with usage of ETL/ELT tolls ( like Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Xplenty, Talend, Pentaho, etc.)
